This event is being run by Susan Ryan of the GPS

United States Power Squadrons®

Captain Len Lipton from the Greenwich Sail and Power Squadron will give an interactive introduction on GPS and will have an operating chart plotter on hand for this class.

Len is an experienced instructor and has taught sailing for many years at all levels, both in the classroom and on the water. He has raced boats ranging from dinghies to one-designs to handicap distance racers.

Len's teaching experience ranges from teaching the United States Power Squadrons Sail course for many years, teaching weather, and a GPS course for Landfall Navigation. Currently his preference is cruising his 38’ sailboat.
