Cruising

A large number of members own sail and power boats large enough to overnight in one of many ports in Long Island or cruise up to the Maine coast. Cruises are organized from May to September to explore Long Island Sound and to socialize and dine along the region’s beautiful coastline.

The Waterfront Program Director's role is to facilitate the

increased scope of OGYC activities for members interested in

cruising, spectator events, power boating, fishing, paddle boarding and kayaking.
